Orientation for Interpreters
Language Bridge, LLC provides orientation session for all potential associates.
The orientation session encompasses the following:
Completion/review of associate documentation on file (i.e. Interpreter’s Agreement, updated resume, W-9, CORI, list of references, copies of driver’s licenses,
certificates, immunization record, etc.)
Review and test knowledge/familiarity with the following: professional terminology, National Code of Ethics, National Standards
of Practice, The National Council on Interpreters in Health Care, the Language Bridge, LLC confidentiality agreement and website, and
requirements for medical interpreters from medical facilities. We also provide opportunities for formal medical training courses, etc.
We also conduct a detailed review of the Independent Contractor and Fee for Services Agreement, punctuality policies (including failure to appear),
dress codes, and penalty measures for infractions such as unprofessional demeanor or attitude
